There’s No Secret To Fat Loss

Often people have this belief that there’s some magical secret to fat loss. And quite often this belief is stemming from coaches brilliant, sneaky and often misleading marketing schemes to get you to believe they have all the secrets.

Well I’m sorry to break it to you, but this is just bull shit.

We are living in a time where we should ALL know by now that the only way to lose weight is by being in a caloric deficit. That should come as no shock or surprise to anyone anymore. And yet we are still being fooled by these marketing schemes on social media that there’s an easier way to lose weight.

Of course, there are optimal strategies that coaches implement with their clients when it comes to nutrition and training. But most of these strategies are no real secret and any competent coach SHOULD have a variety of tools in their tool belt to use when needed. At the end of the day, all of these various tools are being used as an attempt to yield the same thing – driving a caloric deficit to promote fat loss.

There are no magical creams, no secret sweating belt that’s going to make losing weight quick and easy. There are no magical coffees and there’s no secret programs that only some coaches have that make losing weight quick, easy and painless.

Too often we are basing our hiring decisions when it comes to picking a coach on the wrong things:

“Well they are shredded, so they must know what they are doing;

Well they said on Instagram that they have the secret to losing weight quick

Well they said their programs are the BEST when it comes to achieving your fat loss goals”

Etc. etc.

Like I said, there is no secret... so stop letting these coaches fool you into thinking they have all the answers in such a saturated market.

So how should you be making your hiring decisions?

Picking a competent coach that you TRUST, connect with and where their PRINCPLES and strategies are in line with your lifestyle.

Some coaches adopt a keto coaching approach, while others focus on a vegan lifestyle and others maybe just give out meal plans whereas myself, I teach people how to adopt a flexible dieting lifestyle. All of these strategies are completely different and only fit certain people’s lifestyles. But I will tell you the one thing they ALL have in common…

They all yield the same results when it comes to fat loss if you are in a caloric deficit. Again, no secret.

Some people may need to be on a keto diet, others may want to learn more about becoming a vegan, whereas others don’t want to be thinking about flexible dieting and would prefer to have someone tell them what to eat and when to eat without having to think or make decisions.

We are all different. So it’s up to you as the consumer to be self-aware enough to know what program is going to be best for YOU and your lifestyle. And sometimes we don’t know, or we evolve where we no longer want to follow a meal plan and want to adopt flexible dieting – that’s ok. But your decision should always be based on what coach is going to be the best fit for you, not based on the false hopes you are being promised.

I’ll give you a quick example here…

If you love eating meat, and a vegan coach promises that they have the “secret” to fat loss… Would you still hire them because they are claiming they have all the answers? Probably not… Why would you hire a vegan coach when you love eating meat? It doesn’t make sense, right? Their strategies aren’t in line with your lifestyle.

So please…

Stop hiring coaches because they look good naked. Stop hiring coaches because they are promising you that their programs are the BEST on the market. Stop hiring coaches because they promise that they have all the “SECRETS.”

If there is any secret they have, it’s often an off the market supplement that you likely don’t know much about and will regret taking.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions and make sure you pick a coach who’s going to be a good fit for you and your lifestyle!

Hope this helps!
